By validating my registration I accept that the information entered in my registration will be used for the management of the event in which I participate (administration, registration, scoring, ranking). The policy set out below applies to the processing of personal data carried out by jrts.jbip.be. The data controller declares that he processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as the GDPR).

The jrts.jbip.be registration platform is committed to protecting your privacy.

Your rights

As the data subject you have the following rights:

  • The Right to information: This means that you have the right to know whether your personal data is being processed, what data is being collected, where it comes from and why it is being processed.
  • Right of access: This means that you have the right to access the data collected from or/and about you. This includes your right to request and obtain a copy of your personal data that was collected.
  • Right of rectification: This means that you have the right to request to rectify or delete your personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Right to erasure: This means that in certain circumstances you can request your personal to be deleted from our systems.
  • Right to restrict processing: This means that under certain conditions you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data.

Data collected & processed

This information you have provided to us is strictly necessary for the organiser to carry out the event. This information is used to establish the event's scoring & ranking.
Any information requested such as "emergency contact" or "telephone number" is used by event officials only during the event.
If postal address information is requested, it will only be used within the framework of the organisation (ex. to send an invitation letter).

We use your personal data to communicate with you and to enable the organiser to have the essential information to carry out the administration, security and scoring & ranking of his event.

We use your personal data for the placing and reading of cookies (if you agree). You can find more information regarding our use of cookies in the cookie policy.

Within the framework of his event the organiser may display on the ranking page a list of registrants in which the surname, first name and country are mentioned. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your data. To exercise this right, please contact the event organiser or send us an e-mail to jrts@jbip.be.

Only the event organiser has access to the data collected. He must comply with the GDPR policy on the use of personal data.

Security

We do our best to protect your personal data. We use secure protocols for communication and data transfer (such as HTTPS). We monitor our systems for vulnerabilities and attacks. Although we do our best, we cannot guarantee the security of information.
We are committed to informing the relevant authorities of data breaches. We will also notify you if there is a threat to your rights or interests. We will do everything reasonably possible to prevent security breaches and to assist the authorities in the event of a breach.
